New Prescription Request Email Address!

Mayfield Medical Centre has a new email address for patient prescription requests:

nehfccg.prescriptions@nhs.net

Please ensure you use this new email address for all requests.


Repeat Prescriptions

Please note that the email request option has been having some problems getting through to us and it would be favourable to consider the patient on-line as the best option to request your repeat medication.

We apologise for any delay in dealing with your email request due to this issue.  If you wish to sign up please visit our patient on-line web page or call in and fill out a form, bringing ID with you.

Requests for repeat prescriptions should be made in writing and will generally be available within 72 hours (three working days not including the day of request). You will be asked to see the doctor for review from time to time.

ALL requests for medication will need to be through either your usual pharmacist (chemist), on-line requests (if repeat) or in person at our reception desk. 

Telephone call requests will not be accepted.  All requests for new medication must be on our usual written request slip.

If you do not yet have an account but would like one you will need to register above

For a password, attend the surgery in person with ID (Passport, photo driving licence as well as one other form of proof of address such as a council tax bill or utility bill that is less than three months old). The receptionists will then record your application request and a PIN will be emailed to you in order for you to complete the process.

We also have a prescription collection service with several local pharmacies – please ask at reception for details.
