When We Are Closed

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

IF YOU NEED URGENT MEDICAL CARE BETWEEN 08:00 - 08:30am  MONDAY TO FRIDAY ( Excluding Bank Holidays) YOU WILL NEED TO CALL 01252 541884 and listen to the complete message.

The NHS 111 service is available 365 days of the year, 24 hours a day. It is a service that can also access the Out of Hours service when the surgery is closed.

Calls to 111 will be answered by a trained call handler who will ask a series of questions, helping them determine the most appropriate place to help with your needs and a timeframe in which the caller should seek help.

The 111 call handlers will use a clinical system designed by NHS Doctors to determine the most appropriate place for treatment or to advise on self treatment.

Please think carefully before dialling 999 or using the A&E department. These services are for people who are seriously ill or injured.
